My Red Sea: From War to Worship

Life has a way of taking us through deep waters before we find peace on the other side. My journey began in Liberia, where I witnessed the kind of hardship that can either break you or build you. I became a refugee at twelve years old, carrying memories that shaped how I saw the world, but also a quiet strength that would one day become my testimony.
Like many who have faced loss and uncertainty, I carried questions about identity, purpose, and belonging. But through every season, one truth remained unshaken. God was with me.
Over the years, I’ve faced challenges that tested my heart and faith. Yet in each storm, I found Jesus waiting, not condemning, not distant, but near. Through His grace, I discovered that healing is not about forgetting what we’ve walked through but about letting God transform it into something beautiful.
From Pain to Purpose
When I wrote My Red Sea: A Journey from War to Peace, it was my way of acknowledging God’s hand in every part of my story. The title reflects what I’ve lived and that sometimes, God leads us right to the edge of impossibility so that He alone can part the waters.
I learned that peace doesn’t come when life becomes easy; it comes when we surrender our story to the One who can redeem it. My journey from war to worship is proof that no pain is wasted and no life is too broken for God to restore.
The Calling
Today, I see every season of my past as preparation for my purpose. I’ve built a life grounded in faith, education, and stewardship, guiding others toward confidence, wholeness, and joy through Christ. My ministry and work are rooted in hope: helping people rebuild their lives, rediscover their identity, and walk boldly in their God-given design.
Living in Australia has opened my eyes to how much the world needs compassion and renewal. We live in a time where families struggle under immense pressure and society often forgets the importance of grace. Yet I believe with all my heart that revival begins in us. In the way we love, serve, and show the light of Christ wherever we are.
Why I Stand
I stand because I believe in healing.I stand because I believe in purpose.I stand because I have seen God turn hardship into hope and despair into destiny.
My story is no longer about what I survived, but about Who sustained me.Through Christ, I have found restoration, victory, and an unshakable peace.
No matter where you are today, know this: your Red Sea can part too.God still makes a way where there seems to be none.
